Lockdown Now in Effect, All Touch Football Suspended

Townsville Touch Football, on advice from the QLD Government, has temporarily suspended all touch football activities due to the current snap three-day lockdown now in effect.

Update: Lockdown Ends, Touch Football to Resume

All touch football activities, including games and training, will not take place until such time that the QLD Government lifts the lockdown.

This has resulted in the immediate suspension of tonight's Tuesday Veterans matches, and Wednesday's rescheduled Colliers Shield Men's 1 match between Redskins and Brothers.

The current lockdown will be in place until at least 6pm on Friday 2 July 2021.

At the time of writing, all Colliers Shield competition matches scheduled for this coming Monday 5 July (due to the Show Day long weekend) will procede as normal provided the lockdown is lifted and additional restrictions are not added.

Townsville Touch Football encourages all members of our community to observe the lockdown and restrictions now in place so that we can see you all back on the touch football field as soon as possible!

A further update will be made by Townsville Touch Football once more advice is released from the QLD Government.
